Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for detailing the functional specifications for the Cobalt platforms and working with teams internally to deliver the required functionality. In addition, this role will be responsible to support the Head of Product with outlining and documenting product scope, enhancements, test scenarios and ensuring product delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements from clients, product SMEs and other internal teams
  • Turn business requirements into detailed functional specifications
  • Support the development and testing functions throughout the SDLC
  • Create any external documentation and release guides
  • Aid in the documentation and analysis of product enhancements
  • Work closely with product and development teams

Role Requirements

  • Analyse, define, and document complex requirements and business processes
  • Develop complex systems specifications and process flows
  • Create complex technical and functional user documentation
  • To ensure requirements and specifications are up to date, consistent and clearly understood
  • Ensures that all requirements have end to end traceability using appropriate tools and templates
  • Ensures QA team has required documentation to test system functionality

Qualifications

  • BSc degree preferred
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role as a Business Analyst
  • Any other relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous

Essential Skills

  • Detailed knowledge of FX post trade processing, including FX Prime Brokerage workflows

  • Experience working with FX middle and back office systems and processes, preferably at a bank

Administrative Associate

The Administrative Associate will be primarily responsible for supporting and contributing to the overall operational processes across all business functions within Cobalt. This role gives the opportunity to play an integral part in the establishment and growth of Cobalt’s operations strategy and development as the company rapidly expands.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the COO to achieve business goals and implement overarching operations strategy

Tester

The testing resource has to be able to thrive in a start-up environment. Upon joining the team the Tester will be primarily responsible for owning and driving the processes and execution of testing the Cobalt platforms. In addition, this role will be responsible to support the Head of Product with outlining test scenarios and ensuring product delivery.
